Marmaxx Operating Corp is hiring a Part Time Merchandise Associate in Tyler, Smith County to help bring the ever-changing treasure-hunt shopping experience of Marshalls and the wider TJX family of brands to life on the sales floor.

About the Role

As a Part Time Merchandise Associate based in Tyler, Smith County, you'll be at the heart of day-to-day store operations for Marmaxx Operating Corp. This is a customer-facing, hands-on retail position where you'll keep merchandise flowing, displays fresh, and shoppers happy in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet, assist, and create a welcoming experience for every customer who walks through the door.
• Receive, sort, ticket, and stock incoming merchandise across departments.
• Set up and maintain attractive, organized displays and sales-floor presentations.
• Operate the register accurately and process transactions, returns, and exchanges.
• Replenish stock, recover product, and keep aisles tidy and shoppable throughout your shift.
• Support fitting room, fulfillment, and back-of-house tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• A positive, team-first attitude and genuine enthusiasm for helping people.
• Ability to work in a high-energy retail setting and adapt quickly as priorities shift.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting or moving merchandise.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling, including weekends and peak shopping times.
• Prior retail, stocking, or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
