About the Role
As a Detail Technician with Parks Automotive Group in Newell, Mecklenburg County, you will restore each vehicle to showroom-quality condition by following customer-specific cleaning requests. Working with a range of professional equipment and detailing products, you will deliver consistently flawless interior and exterior results that reflect our commitment to quality service.
Key Responsibilities
- Detail every vehicle according to the individual instructions provided by each customer.
- Operate a variety of cleaning tools, machines, and specialized detailing solutions safely and effectively.
- Shampoo carpets and upholstery and apply high-quality foaming products for a deep, thorough clean.
- Vacuum floors, seats, and the trunk to remove dust, dirt, and debris.
- Wipe down and refresh ashtrays, cup holders, and other interior compartments.
- Condition vinyl and leather surfaces to keep them looking and feeling like new.
- Clear all trash and grime from the vehicle interior, leaving a clean, polished finish.
Qualifications
- A strong eye for detail and genuine pride in producing high-quality results.
- Familiarity with — or willingness to learn — detailing equipment, foams, and cleaning solutions.
- Ability to follow specific customer instructions accurately and consistently.
- Reliability, a positive attitude, and a hands-on, team-oriented work ethic.
- Comfortable performing physical, active tasks throughout the workday.
