Handshake is hiring a full-time ParaView Specialist – AI Trainer to evaluate and improve AI systems for computational science applications. This US-based position bridges your technical expertise in scientific visualization with cutting-edge AI development.
In this role, you'll leverage your hands-on knowledge of ParaView, scientific simulation, and large-scale data analysis to assess AI-generated outputs, ensure technical accuracy in computational domains, and provide feedback that strengthens AI's capability to handle complex scientific workflows.
About the Role
You'll work at the intersection of computational science and machine learning. Your expertise will be essential as you evaluate AI performance in real-world scientific computing scenarios, helping to refine AI systems' understanding of simulation workflows, fluid dynamics, and complex datasets.
What You'll Do
- Review and evaluate AI-generated outputs for scientific visualization, fluid dynamics simulation, and computational analysis tasks
- Assess the technical accuracy and feasibility of AI solutions for scientific computing workflows
- Provide detailed, constructive feedback to guide AI model refinement in computational science domains
- Analyze large datasets and complex simulations to validate AI performance and identify improvement areas
- Contribute to documentation and recommendations supporting ongoing AI capability development
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on proficiency with ParaView and scientific visualization tools
- Strong background in computational science, simulation, fluid dynamics, or related technical field
- Demonstrated experience working with large datasets and interpreting complex scientific results
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear technical communication ability
