About the Role

As Paralegal Legal Assistant at Matthews & Matthews, you'll deliver essential support to our litigation team. In this fast-paced role, you'll manage case files, discovery processes, and court deadlines—work that directly impacts our clients' outcomes and our firm's success.

What You'll Do

• Organize and maintain litigation case files, discovery materials, and legal documents
• Assist attorneys with legal research, document drafting, and case preparation
• Manage discovery timelines, court filing deadlines, and scheduling coordination
• Prepare discovery documents, exhibits, and trial materials for attorney review
• Maintain client communication logs and manage multi-attorney calendars
• Support case intake through resolution, handling administrative and substantive details

What We're Looking For

• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Proficiency with legal software, document management systems, and office applications
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and discovery processes
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced litigation environment
• Prior paralegal or legal assistant experience strongly preferred
