DeWitt Transportation LLC is hiring an Over The Road Company Driver in East Point, Fulton County to join a tight-knit refrigerated trucking team that's growing fast and putting professional drivers first.
About the Role
As a full-time Over The Road Company Driver with DeWitt Transportation LLC, you'll haul temperature-controlled freight across long-haul lanes primarily east of I-25. This is an on-the-road position based out of East Point, Fulton County, ideal for a dependable driver who takes pride in safe, on-time deliveries and wants to be more than a number in a giant fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a refrigerated tractor-trailer safely over the road on regional and long-distance routes, mostly east of I-25.
- Transport temperature-sensitive freight while protecting load integrity and meeting delivery windows.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any equipment concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate logs and comply with all federal and state motor carrier regulations.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers throughout each trip.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) appropriate for over-the-road tractor-trailer operation.
- Willingness to run OTR routes and spend extended time on the road.
- A clean, safety-focused driving record and a professional attitude.
- Experience with refrigerated (reefer) freight is a plus.
