Join Internal as an OSP Field Supervisor based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. You'll lead field operations teams overseeing the construction, installation, and maintenance of outside plant network infrastructure across Alameda and Bernalillo County, ensuring all work meets our safety and quality standards.
About the Role
The OSP Field Supervisor is essential to delivering reliable network services to our customers. You'll manage daily field operations, oversee crew members and technicians, and ensure outside plant construction and maintenance work is completed on schedule, safely, and to specification.
What You'll Do
- Supervise field crew members during network construction, installation, and maintenance activities
- Conduct job site inspections to verify work compliance with design specifications and safety requirements
- Manage work schedules, resources, and project timelines across multiple concurrent assignments
- Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical specifications for field implementation
- Identify and resolve field construction challenges to maintain project schedules and quality
- Document work completion, material usage, crew hours, and any safety incidents or concerns
- Coordinate with project managers and internal stakeholders on field progress and issues
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in telecommunications, network, or utility field construction
- Strong working knowledge of outside plant (OSP) infrastructure and network technologies
- Proficiency reading blueprints, technical drawings, and construction specifications
- Solid understanding of construction safety practices, OSHA regulations, and industry standards
- Strong organizational, time management, and project coordination abilities
- Effective leadership and team communication skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Willingness to work in outdoor field environments in varied weather conditions
