Gorman & Bunch – Your Family Orthodontics Provider in Central Indiana is now hiring a full-time Orthodontic Assistant in Greenwood, Johnson County. This is a day-shift clinical position where you'll play a key role in supporting our experienced orthodontists and delivering exceptional patient care.
About the Role
As an Orthodontic Assistant at our Greenwood office, you'll be the backbone of our clinical team, working directly alongside doctors to streamline treatment and ensure every patient receives outstanding service. This full-time day position offers a supportive environment where your clinical skills and patient-focused attitude make a real difference in people's smiles.
What You'll Do
- Assist orthodontists during patient exams, procedures, and treatment planning
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following clinical protocols
- Take and develop X-rays and intraoral photographs as directed
- Educate patients on orthodontic care, appliance maintenance, and oral hygiene
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow throughout the day
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
- Support administrative tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
What We're Looking For
- Certification or formal training as an Orthodontic Assistant (or willingness to obtain certification)
- Strong clinical knowledge of orthodontic procedures and instruments
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine care for patient comfort
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
