HealthPlus Staffing is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Ophthalmologist in Champaign, IL, with both full-time and part-time openings available in an established, high-volume practice.

About the Role

Step into a thriving, fully built-out ophthalmology practice in Champaign, Champaign County, that arrives with a robust referral network and a steady patient pipeline from day one. This permanent position offers Monday-through-Friday scheduling, a manageable 1-in-5 call rotation, and the support of the Epic EMR system. The practice is particularly well-suited to surgeons who enjoy a heavy cataract caseload, as surgical volume here is consistently strong.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive eye care to a busy, well-referred patient population
• Perform a high volume of cataract surgeries within a ready-made surgical practice
• Diagnose, manage, and treat a broad range of ophthalmic conditions
• Document clinical care and coordinate patient workflows using the Epic EMR platform
• Participate in a shared on-call schedule at a 1:5 ratio

Qualifications

• Board-eligible (BE) or board-certified (BC) in Ophthalmology
• Demonstrated strength and comfort performing cataract surgery at volume
• Valid licensure to practice medicine in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain it)
• Availability to begin within roughly 30 to 90 days
