About the Role
As Operations Manager, you'll own the day-to-day execution of manufacturing processes and lead cross-functional collaboration to meet customer requirements, production targets, and profitability goals. You'll identify operational inefficiencies, implement solutions, and build a culture of continuous improvement across the team.
What You'll Do
- Direct manufacturing operations and production teams to meet schedules, quality standards, and cost targets
- Coordinate with quality, maintenance, and logistics teams to optimize workflow and resolve operational bottlenecks
- Monitor key performance indicators and report on metrics including productivity, safety, and compliance
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Manage budgets, resources, and capital equipment to support operational needs
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies
- Serve as the primary point of escalation for production issues and customer-related concerns
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing manufacturing operations, production planning, or similar operations leadership roles
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Experience with manufacturing scheduling software, ERP systems, and production metrics is a plus
- Ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining focus on customer satisfaction and profitability
