Online Speech Therapist – Remote K-12 Services

This position is TEMPORARY to cover a maternity leave with one of our school partners. The position is expected to cover August 2024 – January 2025. This position will be for 20 hours/week with a caseload of 37 students.

Job Summary:

Are you a licensed Speech Therapist looking for a rewarding career? At Joven Health, we’re seeking Online Speech Therapists to provide remote speech therapy services to K-12 students in Michigan. This fully remote position offers flexible scheduling, autonomy, and the opportunity to work with students, schools, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct online therapy sessions with K-12 students.

• Document therapy sessions promptly and efficiently.

• Complete online assessments and participate in virtual IEP meetings.

• Act as a case manager for our school partners, scheduling and facilitating IEP-related meetings.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

• Appropriate state license/certification to practice in Michigan schools as a Speech Therapist.

• At least 2 years of school-based experience (preferred).

• At least 1 year of telehealth experience (preferred).

• Reliable computer with a strong internet connection.

About the Opportunity:

• This position is fully remote.

• We ask that our remote Speech Therapists have at least 10 hours of daytime availability.

• All Joven Health therapists are 1099 independent contractors and not employees.
