About the Role
As an Online Order Filling Team Associate at Walmart's Perkinsville location, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders placed through Walmart's online platform. This full-time, in-store position is essential to ensuring customers receive the right products, on time, every time.
Key Responsibilities
- Navigate store aisles to locate and pick items corresponding to online customer orders
- Carefully inspect products for quality and accuracy before fulfilling each order
- Organize and stage completed orders for customer pickup or delivery handoff
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to resolve inventory or substitution issues
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with Walmart standards
- Meet productivity and accuracy targets to support customer satisfaction goals
Qualifications
- Ability to work a full-time schedule, including varied shifts as needed
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to order accuracy
- Capability to be on your feet for extended periods and handle physical tasks such as lifting and carrying merchandise
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented work ethic
- Prior retail or fulfillment experience is a plus, but not required — Walmart provides training
Compensation
- Hourly pay ranging from $15 to $28, meeting or exceeding all applicable local and state minimum wage requirements
- Eligibility for annual or quarterly performance-based incentives
- Potential premium pay additions of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour depending on schedule, facility, or other qualifying factors
