Role Overview
The role of an RN1 On Call Firefighter with the NSW Government involves working from a local Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) Fire Station. You will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of duties including community fire safety work, attending fires and other emergencies as required. This is an ongoing employment opportunity with on-call hours based in Taree.
Your Responsibilities
- Undertake community fire safety work to promote public awareness and prevent fires.
- Respond to emergency calls, including fires, medical emergencies, and other incidents as required.
- Participate in regular training exercises and drills at the Fire Station.
- Contribute to maintaining equipment and facilities at the Fire Station.

- A current NSW Driver’s License is required for this role.
- Previous experience in firefighting or a related field would be advantageous but not mandatory.
- The ability to work flexible on-call hours, including evenings and weekends.
