OEM Account Manager

Allison Transmission is seeking an experienced OEM Account Manager to join our team in Indianapolis, Marion County. In this full-time role, you'll build and maintain strategic partnerships with key original equipment manufacturers, driving revenue growth and strengthening our market position in the commercial vehicle industry.

About the Role

As an OEM Account Manager at Allison Transmission, you'll play a critical role in our sales and customer success organization. You'll manage complex relationships with major customers, serving as a trusted advisor to decision-makers at our partner organizations. This position requires someone who understands the unique dynamics of original equipment manufacturer relationships and can navigate multi-stakeholder environments to deliver lasting value.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute account strategies for assigned OEM customers
• Identify growth opportunities and drive revenue expansion within existing accounts
• Maintain regular contact with customer stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and identify evolving needs
• Prepare proposals and presentations for key decision-makers
• Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, operations, and leadership
• Track account metrics and report on progress toward sales objectives
• Represent Allison Transmission at customer meetings, conferences, and industry events
• Support contract negotiations and ensure successful implementation

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing relationships with original equipment manufacturers or similar B2B accounts
• Strong sales acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage complex, long-sales-cycle opportunities
• Knowledge of the commercial vehicle, transportation, or industrial equipment sectors preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• Willingness to travel as needed for customer meetings and relationship management
