Advanced Network Consulting is hiring a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join the OCTO team in Hillcrest Heights, Prince George's County. This full-time position offers the opportunity to architect and develop enterprise-scale solutions on the ServiceNow platform while driving continuous service excellence.

About the Role

As Senior ServiceNow Developer at OCTO, you'll take ownership of platform strategy, solution design, and implementation across the ServiceNow ecosystem. Your expertise will directly impact how the organization delivers IT services, manages workflows, and automates business processes. You'll mentor junior developers, establish best practices, and lead the technical evaluation of new platform capabilities.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop custom solutions within ServiceNow, including workflows, integrations, and applications
• Architect platform configurations to align with business requirements and organizational standards
• Lead code reviews and establish development standards across the team
• Implement service improvements and optimize existing processes for efficiency and reliability
• Troubleshoot complex issues and provide technical guidance on platform limitations and capabilities
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
• Document solutions, maintain technical documentation, and share knowledge with the team

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of ServiceNow development and platform administration experience
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, REST APIs, and ServiceNow's scripting frameworks
• Deep knowledge of ServiceNow best practices, data model design, and security
• Proven experience leading technical projects and mentoring junior developers
• Excellent communication skills and ability to document technical solutions
• Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) modules preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
