Occupational Therapist – Part-Time

Wayside is hiring a part-time Occupational Therapist in Milford, Worcester County, to join our Community Services division and support clients through our nationally recognized DMH IHBTC Team.

About the Role

As a part-time Occupational Therapist with Wayside in Milford, you will deliver meaningful, community-based occupational therapy within our Department of Mental Health Intensive Home-Based Therapeutic Care (IHBTC) program. This is a 20-hour position offering an annual salary range of $32,500.00–$37,500.00 based on experience, plus a sign-on bonus paid in two installments—half after six months of employment and half after one year—pro-rated for part-time status.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to individuals and families connected to the DMH IHBTC Team.
• Assess client needs and develop individualized, goal-oriented therapeutic plans.
• Support clients in building daily living, functional, and adaptive skills within their homes and communities.
• Collaborate closely with the IHBTC Team and Community Services staff to coordinate care.
• Document progress and maintain accurate clinical records in line with program standards.

Qualifications

• Credentialed and licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• Interest in or experience with community-based and home-based behavioral health care.
• Strong assessment, planning, and collaborative skills.
• Commitment to person-centered, strengths-based support.
