United Hospital District is hiring a full-time OB RN with Med Surg experience to join our Nursing team in Blue Earth, Faribault County. About the Role
As an OB RN with Med Surg experience at United Hospital District, you will deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to obstetric and medical-surgical patients in Blue Earth, Faribault County. This is a full-time, on-site, benefits-eligible position scheduled at 32–36 hours per week, with rotating and overnight shifts available to support around-the-clock patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to obstetric patients throughout labor, delivery, and recovery.
- Apply medical-surgical nursing expertise to support patients with a range of clinical needs.
- Monitor patient conditions, document care accurately, and respond promptly to changes.
- Collaborate with physicians and the broader care team to coordinate safe, patient-centered treatment.
- Work flexible scheduling, including rotating and overnight shifts.
Qualifications
- Current Minnesota (MN) RN license in good standing.
- Obstetric (OB) nursing experience.
- Medical-surgical (Med Surg) nursing experience.
- Availability for a 32–36 hour week, including rotating and overnight shifts.
- Strong clinical judgment and a commitment to compassionate patient care.
