Medical City Dallas is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Blood Cancer Unit in Fairview, Collin County. As a part-time management professional, you'll inspire a clinical team committed to delivering exceptional oncology nursing care to patients facing hematologic malignancies.
About the Role
This part-time Nurse Manager position offers the opportunity to guide clinical excellence and operational oversight on a specialized blood cancer unit. You'll supervise nursing staff, ensure quality patient outcomes, and foster a culture where both team members and patients thrive during cancer treatment.
What You'll Do
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff across shifts on the Blood Cancer Unit
- Oversee patient care quality, safety protocols, and evidence-based oncology nursing practices
- Manage unit operations, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care for hematology and oncology patients
- Monitor clinical metrics, patient satisfaction, and staff performance indicators
- Champion professional development and continuing education for your nursing team
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
What We're Looking For
- Current RN licensure in Texas with demonstrated management or leadership experience
- Clinical expertise in oncology or hematology nursing (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage budgets, staff, and competing operational priorities
- Commitment to creating a supportive, collaborative work environment
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field (preferred)
