About the Role
As a Level III NDT Technician specializing in Ultrasonic Testing, you'll oversee a critical function within our Saint Louis lab. This position offers the opportunity to apply your ASNT certification at the highest level while directing our nondestructive testing programs and mentoring the next generation of inspection professionals.
What You'll Do
- Lead and execute comprehensive ultrasonic testing inspections across diverse industrial applications
- Develop, implement, and refine nondestructive testing procedures and quality protocols
- Oversee training and professional development programs for NDT technicians
- Manage ASNT Level II and Level III certification efforts and coordinate renewal compliance
- Conduct internal audits to ensure quality standards and regulatory adherence
- Maintain detailed inspection documentation and technical reports for client deliverables
- Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret findings and provide expert recommendations
What We're Looking For
- Active ASNT Level III Certification in Ultrasonic Testing
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on ultrasonic testing experience in industrial inspection
- Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and supervise technical teams
- Strong knowledge of UT equipment, materials science, and defect detection methodologies
- Experience with quality assurance protocols and regulatory compliance standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to technical detail
- Professional communication abilities with clients and cross-functional teams
