CSL Behring is hiring a National Lead, Access & Public Affairs to direct comprehensive market access, reimbursement, and policy initiatives in Sanger, Fresno County. This full-time leadership position shapes how patients access the company's innovative rare disease therapeutics through strategic engagement with national payers, government bodies, and advocacy organizations.

Position Summary

As National Lead, Access & Public Affairs, you'll own end-to-end market access and public affairs strategy for a portfolio of transformative rare disease treatments. Reporting to the Marketing, Sales & Advertising leadership, you'll orchestrate cross-functional initiatives spanning payer relations, health policy influence, and product launch enablement. This role balances strategic healthcare policy understanding with operational excellence in securing reimbursement and expanding patient access across the country.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated market access strategies that optimize reimbursement and coverage across commercial and government payers
• Lead negotiations and relationship-building with national payers, pharmacy benefit managers, and government agencies to achieve target access metrics
• Direct public affairs and advocacy engagement to influence healthcare policy, regulatory environments, and patient access pathways
• Support new product launches with comprehensive access planning, positioning, and stakeholder alignment
• Manage cross-functional teams and projects to align marketing, sales, and medical affairs around access objectives
• Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and policy developments to inform strategic recommendations

What You Bring

• 7+ years of experience in market access, public affairs, government relations, or health policy within the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry
• Proven track record managing complex payer negotiations and building sustainable government and advocacy relationships
• Deep knowledge of US healthcare reimbursement models, healthcare policy, and regulatory frameworks
• Strategic thinking with demonstrated ability to influence at senior stakeholder levels
• Strong project and portfolio management skills with ability to operate across multiple initiatives
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
