What You'll Do Lead strategic planning sessions, quarterly business reviews, and performance analyses with retailer leadership Develop and execute account initiatives that increase shelf presence, category velocity, and market share Present data-driven insights and sales projections to support negotiations and growth opportunities Coordinate with Heartland's internal teams—marketing, supply chain, operations—to deliver flawless account execution Manage promotional calendars, pricing strategies, and product assortments aligned with retailer objectives Identify competitive threats and market dynamics that impact account performance and position Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key merchandisers, category managers, and procurement professionals What We're Looking For Proven sales leadership background in CPG with hands-on experience managing major grocery retail accounts Established credibility and working relationships with Kroger and/or Harris Teeter merchandising teams Deep knowledge of grocery retail operations, category management, and promotional mechanics Demonstrated success driving revenue growth and managing complex, multi-stakeholder partnerships Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence across organizational levels Working proficiency in sales analytics, CRM systems, and market research tools Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent professional experience About Heartland Fpg Heartland Fpg is a food products company dedicated to building strong partnerships with leading national grocery retailers.
