Ultimart is hiring a Full Time Multi-Location Opener for our Marquette, Green Lake County stores. About the Role
As a Multi-Location Opener, you'll be responsible for opening one or more Ultimart store locations each business day. This is a hands-on position requiring you to arrive by 4:00 a.m. to execute opening procedures, prepare stores for customer service, and ensure all systems, equipment, and safety protocols are ready for the day ahead. You'll travel between assigned stores within your district, adapting to different locations while maintaining consistent operational standards.
What You'll Do
- Arrive on time at 4:00 a.m. and execute full opening procedures at assigned locations
- Unlock and secure store facilities, disarm alarm systems, and verify safety conditions
- Power on point-of-sale systems, verify register functionality, and reconcile opening inventory
- Complete pre-opening inspections including cleanliness, lighting, and customer-facing areas
- Prepare store for customer arrival and staff transition
- Coordinate with opening team members to ensure all departments are ready
- Document opening status and report any issues to management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store leadership and team members
