About the Role
As an MRI Technologist at Methodist Health System in Dallas, you'll operate and maintain magnetic resonance imaging equipment during weekend shifts. Working within our imaging services department, you'll be part of a collaborative healthcare team dedicated to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging.
Schedule
Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
What You'll Do
- Operate MRI scanners and imaging equipment with precision and attention to detail
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures and explain the scanning process
- Position patients and equipment to obtain optimal imaging results
- Monitor patient vital signs and safety during procedures
- Maintain detailed records of patient information and imaging protocols
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards
- Contribute to a fast-paced imaging department serving diverse patient needs
What We're Looking For
- Current MRI Technologist certification or equivalent qualification
- Knowledge of MRI physics, safety protocols, and imaging techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a healthcare team environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient care
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
