Luke Staffing is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to support clinical operations at the Twenty Nine Palms Naval Base, serving the Base Line area of San Bernardino County. This is a full-time, on-site position offered as a temporary engagement lasting approximately 12 months.
About the Role
As a Medical Laboratory Technician with Luke Staffing in San Bernardino County, you will perform diagnostic testing and laboratory procedures that directly contribute to patient care at a military medical facility. The assignment is based entirely on-site at the Twenty Nine Palms Naval Base and is not a remote opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests in accordance with established protocols and quality standards.
- Prepare, handle, and analyze patient specimens accurately and safely.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation to ensure reliable results.
- Document findings and report test outcomes promptly to the appropriate clinical staff.
- Adhere to safety, compliance, and infection-control practices required in a medical laboratory setting.
Qualifications
- Completion of a medical laboratory technician training program accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES), or an equivalent qualifying educational pathway.
- A certificate-level credential consistent with the role of a laboratory technician.
- Availability to work full-time on-site for the full 12-month temporary assignment.
- Ability to follow detailed clinical procedures with precision and attention to detail.
