Maintains proper records and utilizes independent judgement to generate acceptable test results. Responsible for quality, efficiency, and safety in the performance of laboratory functions. Serves as a fully effective and participative member of the multidisciplinary team. Your Responsibilities Conducts complex laboratory tests on blood, tissue, and other biological samples using advanced equipment and techniques. Maintains accurate records and documentation of test results in compliance with regulatory standards. Ensures the quality and accuracy of laboratory procedures through regular calibration and maintenance of equipment. Participates in team meetings and contributes to the development of new testing protocols and methods. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field required; Master’s preferred. License as a Medical Technologist (MT) from the Maryland State Board of Medical Laboratory Scientists. Minimum 3 years experience in a clinical laboratory setting, with at least one year in a supervisory role preferred. Knowledgeable in various laboratory techniques and procedures including but not limited to hematology, microbiology, and immunohematology.
