  • Proven collaboration with engineers, technicians, and operations staff in multidisciplinary settings
  • Resilience and constructive attitude suited to demanding, fast-paced environments with aggressive targets

More About Charmindustrial

Charmindustrial targets restoration of atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations to 280 ppm by converting surplus non-food biomass into carbon-dense bio-oil that is permanently sequestered underground; at larger scale the same bio-oil can support fossil-free iron production. Carbon-removal activities began in 2020 with early purchases from Stripe, Shopify, and Microsoft, later expanding to thousands of tons removed, a team of more than one hundred people, and facilities in San Francisco, Colorado, and Louisiana. The organization fosters psychological safety, strong collaboration, continuous learning, calculated risk-taking, and treating setbacks as learning opportunities while pursuing climate-scale impact.

This person takes pride in delivering robust mechanical solutions that work in the real world, and loves stepping through the root cause analysis process when systems are not performing as intended. This person also takes an analytical approach to problem solving and is not afraid to step out of their comfort zone when tackling new problems.  A great attitude in the face of difficult and fast-paced environments is a must. We have ambitious goals, help us make them possible!
