Mechanical Designer

Role Overview

As a Mechanical Designer at Mydpr, you'll play a central role in our product development lifecycle. Your focus will be translating engineering requirements into comprehensive mechanical designs that are both functional and manufacturable. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure every design meets our quality standards and project timelines. This position offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to products that make a real impact.

Core Duties

• Develop detailed mechanical designs using industry-standard CAD software
• Create technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and product teams to refine designs
• Evaluate designs against functional requirements, cost targets, and manufacturing constraints
• Incorporate feedback and iterate on designs throughout the development process
• Participate in design reviews and troubleshooting sessions
• Maintain design files and ensure documentation accuracy and completeness

Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent platforms)
• Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles and design fundamentals
• Strong attention to detail with excellent drafting and documentation skills
• Experience interpreting technical specifications and engineering drawings
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance multiple design constraints
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in team environments
• Technical education or equivalent professional experience in mechanical design or engineering
