Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and reassemble industrial mechanical equipment including pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and hydraulic or pneumatic systems.
• Execute scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance tasks according to established plans and manufacturer recommendations.
• Perform precision alignments, bearing replacements, shaft work, and component rebuilds to restore equipment to specification.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals to guide accurate repairs.
• Document all work performed, parts usage, and findings in the maintenance management system so records stay complete and audit-ready.
• Support root-cause analysis after breakdowns and recommend lasting improvements that reduce recurrence.
• Follow all site safety rules, lockout-tagout procedures, and good housekeeping standards while working on equipment.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience as a senior maintenance mechanic or equivalent Level III industrial mechanics background.
• Strong command of mechanical systems, lubrication practices, measurement tools, and shop equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical failures under time pressure and return assets to service safely.
• Competence reading technical drawings and using precision instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, and laser alignment tools.
• Solid understanding of safety practices, including lockout-tagout, confined-space awareness, and personal protective equipment use.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with operators, planners, and other crafts.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts across Multiple locations as production needs require.
