Bayer is hiring a full-time Material Handler for the night shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) at its Saxonburg, Butler County facility — a site central to Bayer's mission of advancing health and agricultural science for communities worldwide.
About the Role
As a Material Handler on the M3 night shift team in Saxonburg, you'll be a critical link in the production and supply chain, ensuring raw materials, finished goods, and components move accurately and on time through the facility. This is a hands-on, full-time position suited to someone who takes pride in precision, safety, and keeping manufacturing operations running without interruption.
What You'll Do
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing documents
- Transport materials throughout the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial equipment
- Stage and replenish materials at production lines according to build schedules
- Accurately pick, pack, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations
- Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area in accordance with GMP and safety standards
- Document material movements in the warehouse management system (WMS) or ERP
- Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams to resolve material shortages or discrepancies
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Prior experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment preferred
- Forklift or powered industrial truck certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, work orders, and labels
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with attention to accuracy and detail
- Physical capability to lift, push, and pull materials consistently throughout a 12-hour shift
- Willingness to work the night shift schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety
