About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site managerial appointment within Felony Trial Bureau IV at the Queens District Attorney's Office. As a manager, you will lead a team of attorneys handling complex felony prosecutions from investigation through trial, applying your courtroom experience to mentor staff and drive cases toward just outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct the prosecution of major felony cases within Felony Trial Bureau IV.
- Manage and support a team of assistant district attorneys throughout the litigation process.
- Lead investigations and trial preparation for a broad range of serious offenses, including attempted murders, robberies, burglaries, assaults, arsons, weapons and gun possession charges, and vehicular homicide and related driving offenses.
- Provide legal guidance, case strategy, and quality oversight across the bureau's caseload.
Qualifications
- Substantial, demonstrated experience as a prosecutor handling major felony matters.
- A proven track record of investigating and trying serious felony cases.
- Strong leadership and case-management skills suited to a supervisory role.
- Admission to practice law and the ability to work on-site in Kew Gardens, Queens.
