Yanfeng seeks an experienced Manager Plant Quality to lead our Louisville, Jefferson County manufacturing facility's quality operations and drive continuous excellence in product standards and process control. As a full-time plant quality manager, you'll oversee critical quality functions and build a high-performing team dedicated to operational success.
About the Role
This manager plant quality position is central to Yanfeng's manufacturing excellence in Louisville. You'll own quality strategy, team leadership, and the systems that ensure every product meets our rigorous standards from material receipt through final assembly.
What You'll Do
- Develop, lead, and expand training initiatives through mentorship and coaching of quality best practices across the plant
- Manage resource allocation and staffing to ensure the quality team has the skilled personnel needed to perform at peak levels
- Establish and maintain plant quality standards that effectively control incoming material quality and supplier performance
- Oversee standardized manufacturing processes to ensure consistency, compliance, and adherence to quality specifications
- Drive process improvement and quality optimization initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce defects
- Conduct root cause analysis on quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Ensure regulatory compliance and internal quality documentation requirements are met
What We're Looking For
- Proven leadership experience in plant quality, manufacturing quality, or a closely related quality management role
- Strong knowledge of quality standards, process control, and manufacturing operations
- Demonstrated ability to develop and mentor teams in a plant or manufacturing environment
- Track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational results
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing resources and budgets effectively
