Prior exposure to logistics, processing or manufacturing contexts is advantage. Core to the position is the delivery of management accounting insight that underpins sound commercial choices and sustains profitable progress across operations in the Cape Town Region, Western Cape.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate costing models and pricing frameworks that clarify margins and guide commercial strategy.
• Generate timely management reports and commentary that highlight performance trends and improvement areas.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance reviews so teams can act on reliable numbers.
• Partner with operational colleagues to translate financial data into practical recommendations for growth.
• Monitor key cost drivers and alert decision-makers to opportunities that strengthen profitability.
• Maintain robust analytical workstreams that inform day-to-day commercial decisions throughout the business.

Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated strength in costing, pricing analysis and commercial decision-support, ideally gained in logistics, processing or manufacturing settings.
• Clear analytical ability to convert complex financial information into actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Sound working knowledge of management-accounting processes and reporting standards.
• Effective communication skills that enable collaboration with both finance and non-finance teams.
• Competence with accounting systems and spreadsheet tools used for modelling and reporting.
• A recognised accounting or finance qualification together with relevant practical experience.
