Rainey Property Management
Rainey Property Management is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician to support our Magnolia City Lights community in Los Angeles. You'll be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and technical maintenance of our residential property, keeping buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas safe, functional, and well-maintained for our residents.
About the Role
As Maintenance Technician at our Los Angeles property, you'll perform both preventive and corrective maintenance across mechanical, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems. You'll respond to maintenance requests, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure compliance with property standards and safety codes. This is a hands-on position where your technical skills directly impact resident satisfaction and property condition.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, appliances, and grounds
- Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical issues
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents
- Maintain common areas, landscaping, and exterior grounds
- Document work completed and maintain maintenance logs
- Follow safety protocols and building codes
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors as needed
What We're Looking For
- Technical experience in building maintenance, mechanical repair, or a skilled trade
- Hands-on proficiency with tools and diagnostic equipment
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or appliance systems
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
- Valid driver's license preferred
