About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician with the City of Winchester, you will support a broad range of hands-on building and grounds upkeep across municipal properties in Stephenson, Frederick County. This is a varied, on-site position suited to a practical problem-solver who is comfortable working across multiple trades and adapting to changing weather and event demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support on routine plumbing repairs and minor system fixes
• Assist with everyday electrical maintenance and repair tasks
• Help carry out general carpentry repairs and upkeep
• Support routine HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) maintenance and repairs
• Keep parking lots, streets, and sidewalks clear and safe during winter and other weather events, which may include 12-hour shifts and occasional nights, weekends, and holidays
• Provide setup, upkeep, and maintenance support for special events, such as activities along Loudoun Street

Qualifications
