Maintenance Technician

Baldwin Real Estate Corp is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician to support the daily operations and upkeep of our residential property in Radisson, Onondaga County. This is a hands-on role ideal for a skilled technician committed to maintaining safe, well-functioning living spaces for our residents.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be the backbone of our property operations team, responsible for ensuring every building system and amenity functions reliably. You'll manage routine maintenance tasks, respond to resident requests promptly, and help keep our property in excellent condition. This full-time position includes 24-hour emergency support responsibilities, ensuring critical issues are addressed whenever they arise.

What You'll Do

• Perform daily preventive maintenance and inspections of building systems, appliances, and common areas
• Complete assigned maintenance requests from residents and management in a timely, professional manner
• Prepare vacant units for new residents, including repairs, cleaning coordination, and turnover inspections
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls and troubleshoot urgent issues
• Maintain equipment and tools, track inventory of supplies, and document all work completed
• Communicate professionally with residents, contractors, vendors, and team members
• Follow safety protocols and building codes at all times

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar hands-on maintenance role
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general appliance repair
• Ability to diagnose problems independently and perform repairs with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to keeping the property safe and attractive
• Reliable transportation and availability for emergency calls
• Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills
• Valid driver's license required
