About the Role
The Entra West End community is seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day upkeep and resident satisfaction. This is an on-site, full-time position based in Northlake, DeKalb County, offering competitive pay of $22 per hour. If you take pride in keeping properties safe, comfortable, and well cared for, this role places you at the heart of the resident experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance across apartment units and shared community areas
- Respond promptly to resident service requests and complete repairs efficiently
- Troubleshoot common building systems, including plumbing, electrical, appliances, and HVAC
- Prepare vacant units for new residents through turnovers and make-ready work
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the property
- Track work orders and communicate clearly with the on-site management team
Qualifications
- Practical experience in apartment, residential, or general building maintenance
- Working knowledge of repairs across plumbing, electrical, and appliance systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- A service-minded approach and genuine commitment to resident care
- Reliability and the ability to manage tasks independently on-site
