About the Role
As a full-time Maintenance Technician based in Seattle, King County, you'll be at the heart of day-to-day property upkeep across one or more Essex Property Trust communities. This on-site position is ideal for a dependable, detail-oriented professional who takes pride in protecting the value of the property while creating a comfortable, high-quality living experience for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete resident work orders promptly and to a high standard of quality.
- Prepare vacant apartments through unit turns so they are move-in ready.
- Maintain the grounds and overall curb appeal of the community.
- Keep the clubhouse, amenities, and shared common areas clean, safe, and well-functioning.
- Support the ongoing preservation of the asset through routine and preventive maintenance.
Qualifications
- Practical experience with general property or building maintenance.
- Working knowledge of common repairs across systems such as plumbing, electrical, appliances, and fixtures.
- A strong commitment to resident satisfaction and quality workmanship.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks across a property.
- Availability for a full-time, on-site schedule in Seattle, King County (this is not a remote position).
