Join Rock West Composites as a Maintenance Tech in our West Jordan, Salt Lake County facility. We're seeking a dedicated professional to keep our manufacturing operations running smoothly, reporting directly to our Director of Facilities in a full-time role.
About the Role
As our Maintenance Tech, you'll be the backbone of our facility operations, ensuring our equipment, systems, and building infrastructure are well-maintained, safe, and performing at peak efficiency. Working within our engineering and manufacturing environment, you'll respond to maintenance needs, conduct routine inspections, and perform both preventative and corrective repairs across our West Jordan location.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement timely solutions to minimize downtime
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and document work completed
- Maintain facility infrastructure including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems
- Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards
- Communicate equipment status and maintenance needs to the Facilities Director
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience in maintenance, facilities, or related technical field
- Proficiency with basic hand and power tools
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or HVAC systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation
- Commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation and availability for the West Jordan location
