Oxbow Calcining LLC is seeking a full-time Maintenance Mechanic in Griffing, Jefferson County. This position is open to local candidates ready to support the daily operations of a world-class industrial facility specializing in petroleum coke production and commodity handling.
About the Role
As a Maintenance Mechanic at Oxbow Calcining, you'll maintain and repair the industrial equipment and systems essential to our calcined and fuel-grade petroleum coke production operations. Your technical skills and dedication to safety will ensure our facility runs reliably and efficiently for our global customer base.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement repairs to reduce operational downtime
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation of all service activities
- Adhere to preventive maintenance schedules and industry safety standards
- Collaborate with operations and safety personnel to optimize facility performance
- Identify equipment issues early and recommend maintenance improvements
