Maintenance

McDonald's is hiring a Maintenance professional for our restaurant location in Lonsdale, Knox County. This is a full-time position based on-site where you'll keep our facility running smoothly, ensuring equipment operates safely and our space stays clean and welcoming for guests and crew alike.

About the Role

You'll be the backbone of our restaurant's physical infrastructure. Your work ensures that everything from refrigeration units to cooking equipment functions reliably, minimizing downtime and maintaining the high standards our customers expect. This role offers hands-on technical work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

What You'll Do

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on cooking equipment, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and other kitchen machinery
• Conduct preventive maintenance checks and keep detailed records of all service work completed
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot issues to minimize operational disruption
• Maintain facility cleanliness and upkeep, including restrooms, dining areas, and back-of-house spaces
• Address plumbing, electrical, and structural concerns; escalate complex issues to outside vendors as needed
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with health, safety, and building codes
• Order supplies and parts as needed to support ongoing maintenance activities

What We're Looking For

• Experience with general maintenance, equipment repair, or facility management (or willingness to learn)
• Familiarity with hand and power tools, and comfort working with mechanical systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a busy environment
• Physical capability to lift, bend, and work on your feet throughout your shift
• Reliability and a commitment to safety and health standards
