Baker Commodities is seeking a dedicated Maintenance professional to join our team at our Sunrise Manor facility in Clark County. This full-time position offers the opportunity to maintain critical equipment and infrastructure in our rendering plant while ensuring safe, efficient operations.

What This Role Involves

As a Maintenance technician at our Sunrise Manor location, you'll perform essential repair and maintenance work across our rendering facility. Working closely with supervisors, you'll help keep our plant running smoothly by addressing maintenance needs promptly and professionally. This role is critical to maintaining our operational safety standards and production efficiency.

Core Duties

• Execute maintenance and repair tasks throughout the rendering plant and facility
• Conduct equipment inspections and perform preventive maintenance activities
• Follow established safety protocols and facility procedures at all times
• Respond to supervisor direction and work assignments efficiently
• Perform facility cleaning and sanitation as required
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work completed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure uninterrupted plant operations

Who We're Looking For

• Ability to perform physical maintenance work in an industrial environment
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Reliable attendance, especially given the early shift schedule (5:00 AM – 1:30 PM Monday–Friday)
• Ability to work occasional weekend shifts when needed
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
