As a Machinist, you'll play a critical part in manufacturing precision components for defense systems. You'll operate advanced CNC machines, hand tools, and specialized equipment to produce parts that meet strict aerospace and military specifications. What You'll Do
- Operate CNC mills, lathes, and other automated and manual machining equipment
- Read and interpret technical blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
- Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet tolerance specifications
- Maintain accurate setup and documentation of machine parameters and production runs
- Perform assembly, finishing, and quality-control tasks on machined components
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to achieve production goals
What We're Looking For
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Hands-on experience operating CNC machines or similar precision equipment
- Proficiency reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Experience with precision measurement tools and inspection procedures
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
