About the Role
The Blow Mold Machine Operator II reports to the Production Supervisor and plays a critical part in our Franklin facility's daily operations. Working the B shift, you'll be responsible for running blow molding machines and supporting equipment, monitoring output, and ensuring every product meets our quality and performance standards. This position demands attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safe, efficient production in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Operate blow mold machines according to specifications and production schedules
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance and perform basic troubleshooting
- Monitor product output for defects and quality issues
- Maintain accurate production logs and shift records
- Work collaboratively with teammates and supervisors to meet volume targets
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Respond promptly to equipment alerts and production changes
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience operating plastic molding or similar manufacturing equipment (preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to understand equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work the B shift schedule consistently and reliably
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a team-oriented setting
- Safety-first mindset and adherence to workplace protocols
