About the Role

As a full-time Lumber Trader with Gpac, you will sit at the center of the wood products supply chain, turning real-time market intelligence into profitable trades. This on-site position based in Glendale and Denver is ideal for traders and brokers who thrive on negotiation, relationship-building, and staying ahead of price movements.

Key Responsibilities

• Track market trends, pricing shifts, and supply-and-demand signals to time purchases and sales effectively.
• Identify and secure lumber products from a network of suppliers across the USA.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing terms that protect margins and serve client needs.
• Coordinate logistics to ensure orders are delivered accurately and on schedule.
• Build and maintain strong supplier and customer relationships to grow your trading book.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Lumber Trader, broker, or in a comparable commodity trading role.
• Working knowledge of lumber markets, pricing dynamics, and supplier sourcing.
• Confident negotiation skills and the ability to close contracts under pressure.
• Strong organizational habits to manage delivery timelines and client expectations.
• Willingness to work on-site in the Glendale and Denver area.
