Join Women's Health Center of the Carolinas at Pembroke as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in our long-term care setting. We're seeking an experienced, compassionate LPN/LVN to provide high-quality patient care to our residents in Pembroke, Robeson County, in a full-time position.
About the Role
As an LPN/LVN in our long-term care facility, you will deliver direct patient care to residents, working closely with our nursing team to ensure comfort, dignity, and recovery. What You'll Do
- Administer medications and perform wound care under the supervision of registered nurses
- Monitor and record residents' vital signs, health status, and response to treatment
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and mobility
- Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation and patient records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to maintain a clean, secure environment
- Respond promptly to resident requests and concerns with compassion and professionalism
What We're Looking For
- Current LPN/LVN licensure valid in North Carolina
- Minimum 1–2 years of direct patient care experience in a long-term care setting
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail in patient assessment and documentation
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Physical capability to perform nursing duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Commitment to providing resident-centered care and maintaining professional standards
