ARMStrong Insurance Services is hiring a Loss Control Field Inspector for our Brunswick, Cumberland County operations. This is a part-time position where you'll play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating property and business risks.
About the Role
As a Loss Control Field Inspector, you'll conduct on-site evaluations of commercial and residential properties to assess risk factors and recommend improvements that reduce claims and losses. Your work directly supports our clients' risk management goals while helping ARMStrong maintain industry-leading service standards.
What You'll Do
- Perform detailed property inspections, documenting physical conditions and safety hazards
- Identify risk exposures related to construction, maintenance, occupancy, and operations
- Photograph and document findings using standard inspection protocols
- Prepare clear, thorough inspection reports with actionable recommendations
- Communicate findings and improvement suggestions to property owners and clients
- Schedule and manage multiple inspections across the Brunswick area
- Maintain accurate records and meet reporting deadlines
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or relevant certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to climb, bend, and work in varied weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Physical capability to carry inspection equipment and walk properties
- Familiarity with property inspection standards, building codes, or loss control principles is a plus
