Medical Solutions Allied is hiring a full-time, local contract Speech Language Pathologist in Salisbury, Wicomico County, Maryland — a 13-week engagement offering $42–$49 per hour for a clinician ready to make an immediate impact in a patient-centered therapy setting.

About the Role

This local contract SLP position is structured around 32-hour workweeks on a standard daytime shift (8-hour days), giving you consistent, predictable hours without the long-distance travel demands of traditional travel therapy contracts. You'll join a collaborative care team in Salisbury, MD, delivering high-quality speech-language pathology services across a defined 13-week assignment.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate patients for speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
• Design and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans aligned with each patient's functional goals
• Monitor and document patient progress accurately and in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and nursing staff as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques, home programs, and communication strategies
• Conduct dysphagia assessments and recommend appropriate dietary modifications or interventions as clinically indicated

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) issued by ASHA
• Active Maryland state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start
• Demonstrated clinical experience in an acute care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or outpatient therapy setting
• Strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage patients, families, and care team members effectively
• Flexibility and professionalism suited to a contract therapy environment
