RCF Transport LLC is hiring a full-time Class A truck driver for local delivery routes based in Lewis Center, Ohio. This is a W2 position with a family-owned company that has been serving the transportation and logistics industry for over a decade.
About the Role
As a Class A local driver, you'll be the backbone of our logistics operations, moving freight safely and reliably across established routes in Ohio. You'll operate modern trailers carrying pallets, lumber, and recycled materials—the backbone of industries throughout the region. Your focus is local deliveries with predictable hours, keeping you home more often than long-haul drivers.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate 53-foot dry van trailers, flatbed trailers, and dry pneumatic bulk trailers on local routes
- Transport pallets, lumber, and recycled materials to customer sites throughout the region
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Manage loading and unloading coordination with dispatch and customers
- Maintain detailed delivery logs and comply with DOT regulations
- Build relationships with regular customers and dispatch teams
- Deliver shipments on schedule while prioritizing safety and quality
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Experience operating dry van, flatbed, or bulk trailers
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
- Reliability, punctuality, and professional communication skills
- Physical ability to assist with loading and unloading operations
