Loadmaster Instructor

Nova Technologies is hiring a Loadmaster Instructor for our Tye, Taylor County facility. This full-time position involves delivering expert-level training in aircraft systems, operational procedures, and loadmaster operations across classroom, simulator, and hands-on flight environments.

About the Role

You'll train and mentor personnel on the technical and operational skills essential to safe, effective aircraft operations. Your responsibilities span multiple instructional modalities—from structured classroom sessions to advanced simulator training to direct aircraft supervision—ensuring trainees develop both theoretical understanding and practical mastery.

What You'll Do

• Teach aircraft systems, weight and balance, cargo operations, and regulatory procedures in classroom and distance settings
• Conduct simulator-based training on aircraft handling, emergency protocols, and procedural competencies
• Supervise hands-on training and practical load operations aboard aircraft
• Design and develop training curricula for new aircraft types and updated operational requirements
• Serve as a subject matter expert contributing to curriculum refinement and instructional strategy
• Evaluate trainee progress, identify competency gaps, and deliver targeted feedback
• Travel as needed to support training delivery and special operational assignments

What We're Looking For

• Substantial background as a loadmaster or in comparable aircraft operations roles
• Deep knowledge of aircraft systems and operational procedures
• Proven ability to explain technical concepts to varied learner backgrounds
• Experience in training development or instructional methods
• Valid Secret-level security clearance or eligibility for clearance
• Comfort with travel exceeding 10% of work time
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
