About the Role
As a LIHTC Development Consultant, you'll be at the heart of transforming Low-Income Housing Tax Credit concepts into reality. You'll work with developers, nonprofits, housing authorities, and investors to navigate complex federal regulations and build projects that expand access to quality housing in underserved communities.
What You'll Do
- Guide clients through LIHTC program requirements, compliance frameworks, and strategic positioning
- Conduct financial analysis and develop models for affordable housing development projects
- Support project underwriting, feasibility studies, and investment structuring
- Coordinate with lenders, government agencies, and community stakeholders
- Prepare tax credit applications and compliance documentation
- Monitor regulatory developments and advise clients on program changes
- Contribute to client business development and relationship growth
What We're Looking For
- Solid knowledge of LIHTC regulations and federal housing finance
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Excellent ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
- Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, economics, business, or related field
- Professional experience in affordable housing, real estate, or consulting
