The Nieves Law Firm, APC is hiring a full-time Legal Receptionist to join our Oakland office. As the first voice and face clients encounter, you'll manage daily firm operations, greet visitors, coordinate schedules, and support our legal team while building meaningful relationships with the clients we serve.

Your role is foundational to our firm's success. You'll work directly with our managing attorney and team in a collaborative, close-knit environment where you're valued as a key contributor. What You'll Do
- Greet clients, opposing counsel, and visitors with professionalism and warmth
- Manage the reception desk, phones, and scheduling to keep operations running smoothly
- Process new client intake and coordinate information flow with attorneys
- Maintain accurate client records and manage firm calendars
- Handle correspondence, prepare documents for filing, and assist with administrative tasks
- Respond to client inquiries and direct calls to the appropriate team member
- Support the overall workflow so our attorneys can focus on client representation
What We're Looking For
- Professional demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Experience with legal office software, phones systems, and general MS Office; legal experience preferred
- Commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics
- Genuine interest in contributing to a growing law firm with room for advancement
